Yes. When a child is placed for adoption through KidsFirst, the biological family and adoptive family discuss what will happen after the adoption.  Will there be visits?  Will there be pictures or letters, maybe phone calls?  We come up with an agreement that works for everyone involved and we stick to that agreement. Most often, the adoptive parents provide pictures and letters about the child several times a year.

If you are considering adoption but are worried about never hearing how your child is doing, don’t be. We can provide you with updates and an agreement that feels right to you.  You can call our office ANYTIME and we will let you know how your child is doing. Many birth parents continue to keep in touch with us, years after the adoption.

Please call KidsFirst and we can walk you through the process.  We know this is a difficult time and we are here to help you make the best decision for you.
