Choosing a family.

You will look through the profiles of families that we have already approved, and you will select a match that you feel is the best fit for your situation.

Meeting the family.

We will set up a meeting for you to meet the adoptive family and get to know each other. If you are already parenting your child, this step and transitioning the child will be based on what is in his/her best interest.

After Placement.

After placement you will receive updates and pictures. Ongoing contact and frequency of updates will be discussed during the first meeting.

Throughout the process, you are in control and take the lead. We are here to support you and your decisions. We have many families who are waiting to adopt. They are mature, stable, and loving families who are fully approved for adoption. This means that we have been to their home and they have completed a number of background checks. We have checked their financial records, reference letters were received, and they have been interviewed by a social worker. If you would like, you can look at portfolios and choose the family. Or you can also meet with the family. If you do not, that is okay too.
