Russian adoptions have been halted at this time.

KidsFirst placed children from Russia for 14 years. In 2012, the Russian government implemented a ban on American adoptions from Russia. We are extremely saddened by the ban, especially for the American families and Russian children who have been caught in the middle. At this time, it is unclear if Russia will reconsider the ban and re-open its adoption program to U.S. citizens. We remain cautiously hopeful that the ban will be lifted in the future. KidsFirst is open to continuing its program if the ban is lifted.
