As a same sex couple considering adoption, you are entitled to become parents in the state of Indiana and our adoption practice is here to help you navigate the questions of same sex adoption. Here are some things you should know about the process.

• No ban on same sex adoption. In Indiana, there is currently no ban on same sex adoption and LGBTQ+ individuals may adopt children.
• We are here to help you start your family. We are a multicultural, diverse, and inclusive legal practice and we do not discriminate based on anyone’s sexual orientation. The child you want to adopt needs a loving and secure home, and if you can provide that for them, we are happy to work with you. We are looking for stable, loving families who are dreaming to grow their family, who will accept the child for who they are and will put time, energy and money to grow their child’s talents, to provide them with a good education, and who will never stop their love, support and acceptance, regardless of the child’s age.
• If families meet these criteria, we don’t care if they are heterosexual or homosexual. Families need to:

  • Spend time together, eat meals together, laugh, explore, respect and forgive!
